Loui was born in the sub Antarctic islands of the southern Indian ocean, and like all the other young penguins in his family his parents feared he would have to overcome the embarrassment of his bright yellow tuft of hair, but Loui wasn’t like any other penguin. He saw that crown of gold as his ticket out of his frozen mundane life in Antarctica to becoming arguably the most famous Macaroni (scientific name: eudyptes chrysolophus) penguin of all.

With nothing more than a belief in himself and his unbelievably good looks, he was naturally pulled to the industry of class, style, and of course glamour. Loui stands out and demands attention, from his bright yellow hair to the distinct spelling of his name (he dropped the e after moving from home)

Loui draws a crowd. Since the very beginning of his career in the formalwear industry he was a hit. Tuxedo stores first turned to Loui to increase rentals for there prom season in 1994, because of his totally awesome style and ability to make friends. He drives kids in all wanting to see the new Loui wear design for the new year.

In 1998 Loui took over the fashion show circuit by turning that ordinarily passive, if not asleep group of engaged couples, hypnotized by the normal never ending line of black and white tuxedos paraded by them, into a frenzy of wild fans jumping and yelling every time a LouiWear tux store came out with a LouiWear shirt in tow to be tossed to the wild crowd.

In 1999 Loui made a monumental move to radio. Seeing that radio can be targeted directly at teenagers or the masters of the prom, and knowing that radio is very expensive, Loui put the top quality and totally unique designs of his shirt, threw in the word free, and at once grabbed the attention of radio stations across the country. What radio station wouldn’t love to give away shirts on the air? The 6 or 7 color design gives the DJ’s plenty to talk about which in turn gives the Loui dealers a radio ad, worth well over $50, for as little as $3.43.

2001 brought Loui ‘s big splash into the wedding market. Once asked to be the best man at his friends wedding, Loui seized the opportunity to prepare for his own special event, (After all even a swinging bachelor like Loui would be in the wedding market someday.) Saddened to find no attention given to the best man, Loui vowed to change the value given to the best man everywhere, (meaning this guy is a gold mine, knowing that odds are, he will be getting married next and will need a bunch of tuxes. HE IS SITTING IN YOUR STORE!) A LouiWear shirt is the perfect way to let this gentleman know you want his business.

Nobody works harder than Loui, and NOTHING works better than LouiWear!
